Orchid & Butterfly farm

The most colorful attraction in the Netherlands is De Orchideeën Hoeve in Luttelgeest, with Butterfly Valley and Lorituin, 25,000 m2 of tropical flora and fauna under one roof.

Admire thousands of species of wild and rare orchids, feed the special fish, enjoy beautiful beautiful colors and scents and visit the largest butterfly garden in Europe where more than 2000 butterflies flutter around. The journey through the four different continents is an adventure for young and old!

New attraction is the ‘Floating’ Flower Garden. Visitors come into a fairytale-like world of flowers where thousands of fuchsias, begonias, geraniums, petunias and industrious lies form an infinite cloud. The flower spectacle can be seen in a huge glass greenhouse seven meters high. You become immediately happy; it gives an ultimate summer feeling. There are idyllic gazebos, cozy seating areas and a bistro with all kinds of summer delicacies, so you can enjoy all that beauty at your leisure.

The Orchideeën Hoeve is for all ages and offers something for everyone. The Orchideeën Hoeve is also fun, educational and exciting for children and they can participate in an exciting quest and romp in the Mangrovebos Speelparadijs; a water-rich indoor playground with turtles.
